- Seeking out the appropriate contact in an organization
- Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers
- Meeting with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Understanding the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet requirements.
- Creating and delivering presentations and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
- Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
- Attending networking events, conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Developing and managing relationships with potential clients, influencers and key stakeholders
