AED 8,000 – AED 12,000 per month + bonus structure, depending on experience and engagement structure
An established Hair & Beauty e-commerce business operating across Australia and New Zealand is expanding into the UAE market, with plans for broader GCC growth.
Our business operates a supplier fulfilment model, where suppliers fulfil customer orders directly rather than supplying bulk inventory into a traditional warehouse structure.
Success within this model depends on commercially viable supplier partnerships, operational responsiveness, curated product selection, fulfilment capability, and commercially sustainable onboarding structures.
We are seeking a commercially aggressive and execution-focused Business Development Manager capable of independently building supplier momentum and progressing commercially suitable supplier partnerships across the UAE market.
This is a hands-on growth role suited to someone who can:
proactively identify and engage suppliers
build commercially productive supplier relationships
negotiate commercially viable arrangements
assess supplier fulfilment capability
sign up and onboard suppliers operationally
maintain supplier progression and follow-through
and independently drive commercial execution within a startup-growth environment
Who We Are Looking For
We are specifically seeking candidates with:
UAE business development experience within haircare, beauty, skincare, salon, wellness, FMCG, wholesale, or related sectors
existing UAE supplier, distributor, salon, wholesaler, or industry relationships
strong commercial negotiation capability
confidence operating independently without layers of corporate support
strong execution discipline and organisational follow-through
ability to progress suppliers from initial engagement through to onboarding readiness
valid UAE driving licence and access to a vehicle due to regular supplier meetings across the UAE
Candidates without UAE market experience, relevant industry exposure, and ability to independently attend supplier meetings are unlikely to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage commercially suitable suppliers and distributors across the UAE
Build and manage an active supplier acquisition pipeline
Conduct supplier meetings, outreach, negotiations, and onboarding discussions
Assess supplier suitability for supplier fulfilment operations
Negotiate pricing structures, fulfilment arrangements, onboarding requirements, and commercial terms
Progress suppliers from initial engagement through to onboarding readiness
Support category expansion across haircare, beauty, skincare, wellness, and related FMCG sectors
Maintain consistent supplier progression visibility and commercial follow-through
First 60 Days – Key Focus
The initial focus of the role is supplier progression, onboarding momentum, and commercial execution. This includes:
building an active supplier engagement pipeline
identifying commercially viable supplier opportunities
progressing supplier discussions and negotiations
assessing supplier fulfilment suitability and operational readiness
validating pricing structures and onboarding requirements
signing up and onboarding suppliers
progressing suppliers toward operational activation
expanding supplier and category coverage within agreed target sectors
The role requires someone comfortable balancing:
supplier relationship development
supplier qualification
