We are seeking a skilled and SIRA-certified CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and security coverage. This role requires a strong understanding of security systems, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installation and Setup:
• Install and configure CCTV cameras, recorders, and associated equipment according to industry standards and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys to determine camera placement, cabling routes, and system requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is installed correctly and operates as intended.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Perform regular maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CCTV systems, including cameras, recording devices, and network components.
• Replace and repair faulty components and systems as needed.
• System Upgrades and Enhancements:
• Evaluate and recommend system upgrades or enhancements based on technological advancements and client needs.
• Implement system upgrades and ensure minimal disruption to existing operations.
• Customer Service:
• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of CCTV systems.
• Respond to service requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their security needs and provide solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare and submit reports on system performance and issues as required.
• Document system configurations and changes for future reference.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and standards during installations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with SIRA regulations and guidelines related to CCTV systems.

Qualifications:
• Certification: SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Agency) certification is mandatory.
• Experience: Proven experience as a CCTV Technician or similar role, with a solid understanding of CCTV systems and related technologies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment. Knowledge of networking and IP-based systems is essential.
