Core Responsibilities • Design & Drafting: Create detailed drawings, plans, and 2D/3D models for infrastructure using software like AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Analysis & Calculations: Perform complex calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and structural elements. • Site Investigation: Conduct field surveys and site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility. • Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and industry codes, standards, and environmental regulations. • Cost Estimation: Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and overall project costs. Project Management & Collaboration • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and government agencies. • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, permit applications, and contract documents. • Project Oversight: Monitor progress, manage timelines, and provide technical support during construction. • Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges and recommend solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
