JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Function:

Responsible for preparation of BOQ, spread sheets, technical and commercial proposals including drawings and specifications to meet the customers’ requirements and to co-ordinate with all concerned depts to achieve the same.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Be based in office and to make site visits as and when required.
Preparation of PMS template based on cash loading.
To be fully aware of the project specifications, drawings, BOQ, client requirements, HSE regulations.
Responsible to develop and continuously improve the estimation function on projects.
To plan and schedule for completion of tendering activities, maintaining a constant check on the tendering program.
To prepare proposals and estimation of man hour budgets as per shop drawings, method statements, specification and work plan.
Review contract specifications to establish client requirements.
Interpret customer data sheets, drawings and specifications.
Interface with all internal departments.
Prepare bill of materials as per based on the productivity of POG labours and current material prices.
Take inputs from sites pertaining to work outputs, methodologies of execution etc and maintain DATA Bank.
Support project team on any technical issues.
Provide assistance and report to Projects Manager/ Operations Manager for any technical problem or inquiries in the project.
Co-ordinate with client, consultant and management as and when required.
Prepare variations to client as per directions of Project in charge.
Preparing concept and as built drawing for the project.

1. Computer knowledge (MS Word& Excel & MS Project) and fluent in English.

2. Cost planning and cost estimating experience essential.

3. Ability in handling multiple jobs/projects, and be able to carry out multiple tasks and scalability within each project.
