- Coordinate with engineers and architects to interpret project plans and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, materials used, and workforce efficiency to report to upper management.
- Facilitate communication between subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
- Implement effective strategies for optimizing resource allocation, minimizing waste, and reducing project costs without compromising quality.
- Train and mentor junior staff and laborers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence on the construction site.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and design modifications, ensuring all parties are informed and compliant.
- Act as a liaison between local authorities and the construction team, ensuring all permits and inspections are completed on time.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise on-site promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the work schedule.
