Roles & Responsibilities:
Award of Contracts:
• Preparation of draft General conditions of Contracts
• Preparation of Special/ Particular conditions of Contracts
• Commercial bid preparation, negotiations and finalization of Contract
• Issuance of Letter of Intent
• Draft preparation of Contract and getting approval of the same
• Execution of Contract agreement.
Administration of Contracts.
• Maintaining a log of Bank guarantees/ insurances as required by the Contract
• Contract correspondences with client/employer
• Highlighting the risk and timely action to mitigate the same.
• Co-ordinate with planning, project and procurement teams for timely actions of all activities as per agreed project schedule
• Preparation of claims in co-ordination with officers concerned.
• Preparation of request for Extension of Time/ Adjustment of Contract Price
• Follow up with Employer/Owner for change/ variation orders.
• Co-ordinate with legal department for contractual issues.
• Award of Subcontracts if applicable
• Processing of claims by Subcontractor if applicable
• Maintaining a log of all contracts/subcontracts.
Contract closeout
• Closing of contracts/(subcontracts) if applicable
• Finalization of no claim / lien discharge / and other close out documents as applicable
• Agree on final contract/ subcontract price.
