Full job description
We are seeking a qualified Piling and Shoring Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design and execution of piling and shoring systems for construction projects. The ideal candidate should be an approved ADM/DM Engineer for piling and foundation contracting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, plan, and oversee the implementation of piling and shoring systems for high-rise, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
Conduct detailed site evaluations, geotechnical assessments, and risk analyses to inform design specifications.
Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to align designs with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
Follow-up with DM, DDA,RTA, Trakhees to get Design approved from Concerned Authority.
Monitor on-site execution to ensure adherence to design plans, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Troubleshoot technical challenges during construction and provide practical solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering,
License/Certification: ADM/DM Certification in Piling and Foundation is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in piling/shoring design and implementation.
Driver's license: Candidates with a driver's license will be strongly preferred.
Additional Note: Candidates must provide a project portfolio demonstrating piling/shoring design experience.
Skills
Proficiency in piling design software (e.g., PLAXIS, LPILE, Wallap, Prokon or similar).
In-depth knowledge of geotechnical principles, construction methodologies, and safety standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English
