Job Summary:

As a Design Engineer specializing in Roads Design, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of road infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers, planners, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality road design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish design parameters based on client’s requirements.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary and final roadway and interchange design.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
• Prepare detailed Highway design and feasibility studies.
• Check complete road drawings which includes road layout, longitudinal sections, cross sections, road furniture, road markings and signs, visibility checks, swept path analysis, and flexible pavement.
• Monitor and review the progress of producing the engineering design services such as geometric drawings, specifications, estimates and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
• Preparation of Signing and Marking layout drawings.
• Assign, approve, perform or delegate design modifications as appropriate.
• Coordinate and complete projects and design efforts with other engineering groups and departments within DC Abu Dhabi.
• Ensure that all designs and deliverables are as per standards and codes and accurately represent the client’s requirements.
