- Create detailed electrical drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Review and interpret electrical designs, specifications, and requirements from engineers and architects
- Ensure all electrical plans adhere to local, state, and national codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to understand the scope and requirements of each project
- Update and revise existing electrical drawings as needed
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify measurements
- Assist in developing and maintaining electrical drafting standards and best practices
- Coordinate with other drafters, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
