The FM Manager - Estimation is a key role within the Proposal Department, responsible for providing expert-level estimation, budgeting, and cost control for facilities management. This role demands proficiency in technical write-ups related to FM estimation, contributing significantly to the development of competitive and accurate proposals.


FM Estimation and Technical Write-Ups:

  • Lead the estimation process for facilities management projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Develop detailed technical write-ups that clearly articulate the scope, methodologies, and value proposition of FM services.
  • Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Design and implement budgeting frameworks for FM projects, aligning them with client requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the approved budget.
  • Provide regular budget forecasts and updates, highlighting potential overruns and savings opportunities.

Proposal Development Support:

  • Collaborate with the Proposal Department to integrate FM estimation and technical insights into proposal documents.
  • Ensure that proposals are both technically sound and financially viable.
  • Participate in proposal reviews and revisions, offering expert advice on FM-related aspects.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments, including Planning, Operations, and Accounts, to gather necessary information and insights for accurate estimations.
  • Facilitate communication between the Proposal Department and FM operational teams to ensure consistent understanding and execution of project requirements.
