Monitor and analyze food cost, beverage cost, labor cost, and wastage
Support in menu costing and ensure alignment with profit targets
Track inventory usage, stock variances, and support monthly stock counts
Reconcile sales from POS systems with accounting records
Assist in optimizing operational controls across outlets or kitchen operations
Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and payments
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Lead monthly and year-end closing procedures
Handle UAE VAT compliance, including filing returns and supporting documentation
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities
