Key Accountabilities
1. Assist the Assistant Manager, Finance overseeing the whole operation in Finance Department.
2. Assign works to the team members and monitor their performance.
3. Ensure required documentation being done on time for internal / external audit.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Maintain Accounts Payable and liaise with site personnel and the Procurement and Inventory Unit to carry out reconciliation, vetting vouchers, matching documents with information in the POIS and preparing payments for creditors and subcontractors.
2. Import purchases and payments in POIS to Accounting system.
3. Import payroll reports in PRIS to Accounting system.
4. Maintain Accounts Receivable, process billing and ensure that collection of overdue accounts are prompt and notify the respective site operations managers to resolve aging or delinquent accounts.
5. Maintain cash book and records of all cash and cheques transactions and reconcile all bank statements with the cash book.
6. Prepare and submission of GST returns and Income Tax returns.
7. Reconcile Banks statement of accounts.
8. Reconcile Creditors statement of accounts.
9. Reconcile Accounts Receivable's report and with JRIS's report.
10. Reconcile General Ledger and Debtor Ledger.
11. Reconcile inter-company's transactions and balancing accounts.
12. Update new and disposal assets and import depreciation in ICIS to accounting system and prepare assets schedule.
13. Participate in monthly and year-end financial closings, preparation and compilation of financial reports.
14. Prepare job costing and audit schedules.
15. Prepare financial budgets and project cashflow.
16. Assist in executing the financial accounting processes.
17. Assist in reviewing, analyzing and improving the accounting processes.
18. Carry out book entries and seeks clarifications from the relevant Division/Section Managers should discrepancies be found in the accounts.
19. Custodian to JRIS, POIS and ICIS, and provide support to all.
20. Oversee the activities of the department and provide guidance to the subordinates.
21. Manage the work performance and behavior of subordinates through motivation, orientation, training and coaching, disciplining them, when necessary.
22. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or higher management.
Qualification & Experience Generally Required
1. At least 5 years relevant experience in financial accounting & 3 years Overseas experience preferably in similar or related industries.
2. Professional qualification in accounting and finance
3. Preferably bilingual in English and Arabic
4. Computer literate with Microsoft Window environment
5. Good communications skills
6. Good finance competence
7. Good analytical skills
