We are seeking a skilled and experienced finishing carpenter to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a finishing carpenter in our organization, you will play a crucial role in creating, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and fixtures in both residential and commercial projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials needed and installation procedures
- Construct, install, and repair wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using various hand and power tools
- Assess the quality of woodwork and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards
- Install formwork for concrete pouring in construction projects
- Adapt to various project requirements, including potential work on high-rise buildings or luxury properties common in Dubai
- Perform finishing work, including sanding, staining, and polishing surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction workers or contractors on larger projects.
