Develop and manage IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with best practices and governance frameworks (such as ISO 38500, COBIT, and ITIL). The role aims to maintain high levels of security and operational efficiency across the organization’s systems and technologies. Key Responsibilities 1. Policy and Procedure Development & Updates Develop, draft, and maintain IT-related policies, procedures, and standards. Review and update policies and procedures periodically to ensure alignment with technological and organizational changes. 2. Compliance and Standards Ensure that IT policies comply with relevant local and international regulations. Support internal and external IT audit requirements. 3. Coordination and Governance Collaborate with other departments to clarify IT policies and procedures and ensure effective implementation. 4. Awareness and Training Prepare and deliver periodic awareness programs for employees regarding IT policies and procedures. 5. Monitoring and Evaluation Monitor compliance with IT policies and procedures across the department. Prepare periodic reports on compliance levels and associated risks. 6. Document Management and Review Maintain and manage official documentation for approved IT policies and procedures and ensure accessibility to relevant stakeholders. Contribute to periodic reviews and support continuous improvement of IT governance and institutional performance. Required Skills and Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience 3 to 5 years of experience in IT Governance or IT policy and procedure development. Skills Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and international standards (ISO 38500, COBIT, ITIL). Excellent technical documentation and policy-writing skills in both Arabic and English. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with various departments.
