BlockDelta has been exclusively engaged to hire a Head of Technology for a Loyalty based Blockchain project. Ideal candidate should have over 10 years of software development experience, well versed and hands-on with Hyperledger and Polygon.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own the product roadmap from a technology and delivery standpoint. 


* Refine and further develop the product applications, platform, infrastructure, and integration 
architectures. 


* Bring in DevOps culture and implement best practices, create CI/CD automation pipelines, and deployment methodologies. 


* Assess Infra needs for both on-premise and cloud implementation and develop templates using infrastructure-as-code architecture. 


* Design, resource and implement scalable quality assurance, testing, information assurance, and security processes. 


* Architect, scope and execute new product development and provide leadership to a talented team of software engineers. 


* Ensure that all aspects of operations and knowledge capital is well documented. This includes regularly 
updating data flows, system interfaces, APIs, and more. 


* Contribute to product vision and roadmap, including new product concepts. 


* Assist the team by leading technical pre-sales activities with prospective customers, partners, and 3rd party systems integrators. 


Qualifications:

* Master's Degree (MS in Computer Science) with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT 


* Hands-on expertise on Hyperledger Fabric (mandatory) and Polygon (mandatory) with optional 
experience in other blockchains as well. 


* Hands-on expertise of working with Open Source and/or Proprietary Artificial Intelligence Platform(s) 


* Past experience of working as Technology Head, Solution architect.


* Can work as an individual contributor for MVPs and early stage products as well as experience of leading tech teams to develop/implement production grade products. 


* Understand full lifecycle of product development, implementation and roll-outs, not limited to, analysis, development, deployment, testing, security and go live stages. 


* Can lead technical discussions with Customer technical heads, and able to address their requirements, acting as technical expert with business teams in the pursuits. 


* Must have exceptional aptitude and knack for deriving technology solutions in the areas of emerging 
tech and stays updated with new emerging stacks, innovations. 


* Can work with relevant teams in back-office – IT, Developers to design POCs, MVPs, explain them requirements, work closely with them to launch successfully. 


* Comes with background of product development, specially in nascent and advanced technologies. 


* Familiarity with UAE and Middle east region is a significant plus. 


* Solid understanding of SDLC lifecycle, delivery of enterprise projects in waterfall, agile manner with experience of delivery is a mandatory skillset expected in the role. 


* Must be flexible to travel and ready to work with aggressive yet positive entrepreneurial attitude.
