Job Summary:
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the Global / cross-border pharmaceutical distribution and Complex investment portfolio effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the company. This role involves performing independent and objective audits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement annual audit plans based on a risk assessment.
Conduct thorough audits of financial, operational, and compliance activities.
Document and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Perform audit tests and procedures, including data analysis and sampling.
Proposing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and identifying other areas of improvement.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and improve control processes.
Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the company’s compliance programs.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations.
Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Provide training and support to staff on internal control and risk management.
Participate in special projects and investigations as required.
