Basic Function
A health, safety, and environmental manager helps a company realize risks and prevent them from coming to realization. Acts as an HSE compliance advisor to regional teams regarding projects, tasks, and operations. In charge of creating and implementing employee safety and environmental health procedures and training for facilities worldwide. Ensures compliance with corporate HSE policies and is responsible for maintaining ISO 45001 certification
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function)
• Take objective evaluations of various departments worldwide to ensure employees adhere to safety standards including periodic on-site audits.
• Monitors the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards, and training of employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Verifies compliance with health and safety regulations and ensures all necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
• Manages external HSE audits by providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
