The Investment Manager is responsible for developing strategies for managing the portfolio of investments, including meeting with fund managers, preparing, and reporting on the analysis of investments and investment strategies to the Company’s Senior Management & the Board of Investment Committee.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure the investment portfolio is in conformity to the Investment Asset Distribution prescribed by the Financial Regulations for Insurance Companies
• Monitor the performance of company’s portfolio of Shares & Bonds on a frequent basis & regularly appraise and submit recommendations to Senior Management.
• Evaluate investment strategies / processes and make recommendations to the Senior Management & the Board of Investment Committee.
• Identify portfolio additions / fund selection / asset allocations & reallocations that optimize management of risk and long-term returns.
• Prepare / Provide concise Investment analyses and reports for the Senior Management & the Board of Investment Committee
• Undertaking research on investment trends and due diligence on various investment ideas / proposals for equities, bonds, funds using valuation techniques.
• Liaise with Asset Managers, Investment banks, custodians and fund administrators
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
