Performs repair and maintenance duties on a wide variety of kitchen, refrigeration and laundry equipment such as walk-in freezers, industrial-sized steam cookers, refrigerators, ice machines, washers, ovens, dryers, dishwashers, water coolers, pressing machine, dry cleaning machine and flat work ironer.
Carries out periodic inspection, cleaning and equipment servicing
Installs new equipment; ensures settings of wiring controls
Performs repairs on leaks
Changes equipment parts that have become old or defective
Attends quickly to emergency calls on equipment repair issues
Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
Comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures
