Purpose of the Job
The position holder is responsible for support and operation of LGV to ensure the accurate transfer of products in & out of warehouse storage. The technician is responsible for troubleshooting component parts, including motion sensors, control components, photo sensors, and pneumatic systems, automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Key Accountabilities in detail with sub tasks
· Operate, maintain and repair of smart store system (conveyors, LGV’S, chargers, shuttles, satellite, pneumatic systems) based on SOP, O&M manuals.
· Monitor E80 system for minor and major faults. Including but not limited to sensor errors, floor-causing issues, loss of navigation, improper placement of loads, traffic, and connection loss.
· Perform mechanical based preventive maintenance IE lubrication and inspection.
· Troubleshoot and repair minor and major mechanical problems and repair electrical issues. Calibrate sensors as needed.
· Retrieve jammed pallets from racks.
Update and tracks service inspections and checks. Support schedule changes to resolve conflicts among maintenance and daily operations.

· Familiar with any HACCP requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), including the correct wearing of uniforms, hairnets and beard covering, and that the machines and surrounding areas are all kept clean and free from garbage, product residues and standing water. ▪
· Responsible for completing and closing any corrective or Preventative actions identified in the area as a result of GMP or Food Safety audits.
· Ensure that quality control is called to take samples and make quality checks as required by the operation and operation does not start until the sample has been approved by quality control and that operation is stopped if any later samples are failed by quality control.
· Escalating any food safety violations to the concerned managers and for ensuring that operation does not restart until approved by the concerned managers and the site quality manager.

· Ensure to comply with the health and safety training for working in the area and for safe operation of the machines and processes.
· Responsible for safely stopping operation in the event of a health and safety incident in his area.
· Responsible for calling a qualified First Aider in the event of one of the team being injured, and for reporting the incident to the concerned manager and the health and safety manager for investigation.
· Responsible for completing and closing any Corrective or preventative actions identified in his area as a result of the investigation of Health and Safety incidents and Near Misses
