Experience
1. Operations Management
• Manage and control daily morning operations to ensure seamless delivery execution.
• Ensure timely deployment of drivers and delivery assistants to maintain uninterrupted delivery schedules.
• Ensure picking accuracy by the logistics team (pickers/drivers), including proper segregation by origin, and obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) with customer signature and seal for all deliveries.
• Monitor and ensure on-time delivery performance across all assigned routes.
2. Fleet & Route Coordination
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling and allocate drivers and helpers efficiently across delivery routes.
• Liaise with the Fleet Team to plan preventive maintenance and handle breakdowns or repairs promptly.
• Maintain vehicle service records, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
• Track monthly vehicle mileage for maintenance planning and cost control.
3. Delivery Monitoring & Control
• Monitor delivery vehicles using GPS systems (e.g., V-Zone) to optimize routing and ensure timely deliveries.
• Identify and address any misuse of company vehicles.
4. Staff Supervision
• Supervise drivers and pickers on daily assignments and operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, traffic regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor and assess logistics team performance by analysing discrepancies such as missing items and non-compliance with LPO quantities during picking.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, behaviour, shift planning, and leave management.
5. Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Arrange necessary passes and appointments for restricted locations by close coordination with Sales Team (e.g., palaces, airports, military sites).
• Maintain proper records and ensure the drivers maintain licenses, permits, and operational documents by close coordination with Fleet team
6. Reporting & Performance Analysis
• Prepare and submit reports to the Operations Manager, including:
•Daily delivery performance, additional and pending orders, Vehicle breakdown and maintenance updates , Staff productivity, absenteeism, and disciplinary issues
• Analyse route profitability and daily sales trends on a weekly and monthly basis and optimize routes where required (including route consolidation).
7. Process & System Management
• Ensure for accurate tracking of staff attendance (clock-in/clock-out) and overtime.
• Ensure regular toolbox talks are conducted with logistics staff to improve operational efficiency, along with one-on-one feedback sessions to support individual performance improvement.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and Invoicing teams to ensure smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction
