The Opportunity
The Manager - Solution Engineering is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative video analytics and security solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize solutions that meet customer needs in areas such as surveillance, business intelligence, and security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of video analytics technologies, security solutions, and experience managing complex projects from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Development:
- Lead the design and development of advanced video analytics and security solutions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the integration of hardware, software, and services.
- Develop custom solutions based on client requirements, leveraging AI/ML for video analytics.
- Project Management:
- Manage end-to-end solution deployment projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., R&D, sales, support) and external partners/vendors.
- Customer Engagement:
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
- Gather and analyze customer requirements, translating them into actionable product features or solutions.
- Market & Technology Insights:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in video analytics, security, and AI/ML.
- Provide thought leadership by contributing to product roadmaps and marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities based on market research and customer feedback.
- Compliance & Security:
- Ensure all solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Work with security teams to address potential vulnerabilities and ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
