- Regularly inspect vessels and offshore installations to ensure adherence to HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses in accordance with established protocols, providing clear reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with marine operations teams to create a culture of safety, promoting proactive communication regarding HSE matters.
- Monitor environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with environmental regulations for marine projects.
- Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management, highlighting trends, compliance issues, and areas for enhancement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, integrating relevant updates into HSE policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors, ensuring that all marine operations meet applicable HSE standards.
