We are currently seeking the creative talent a Full-time Marketing Communications Manager who will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing approach across various communications channels.

We are seeking a dynamic marketing professional with over 5 years of experience in marketing, PR, communications, and channel management, preferably within the hospitality industry or luxury brands and R&B sectors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic, demonstrating a strong sense of quality, creativity, and an elevated understanding of luxury positioning. With a passion for storytelling and content creation, you will bring strong creative skills to the table. Your solid project management abilities will enable you to conceive and implement projects from inception to completion, effectively managing processes and expectations while meeting deadlines. A proactive and inquisitive mindset is essential for developing problem-solving, decision-making, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking skills. Additionally, you should have a keen understanding of the R&B marketplace, staying informed on market trends and leading marketing strategies by evaluating competitor activities and implementing necessary changes.
What Marketing Communications Manager will do:
Digital & Social Media Strategy
- Develops and executes a strategic digital and social media marketing plan that support the business objectives to increase awareness and visibility, and track ROI and performance.
- Creates quarterly social media calendar to plan outbound content aligned with Hotel campaigns.
- Reports monthly social media performance and proactively suggests actions when needed.
- Work with DOPR to manage digital marketing campaigns in conjunction with agencies across all channels including organic search, paid search, display, mobile and social.
- Monitor and respond to social media engagements, direct messages, reposting and overall community management within one business day.
Marketing Communications
- Plans strategic marketing approach that contributes to driving traffic and revenues.
- Remains up to date on new marketing trends, industry updates, best practices, and competitors' strategy.
- Evaluates influencer marketing leads and tier-1 media opportunities locally, regionally, and internationally.
- Develops partnership and sponsorship opportunities with third parties to build a rapport with the local community.
- Assists in planning, organizing, and executing Hotel-related events.
- Ensures in-house collateral meets brand guidelines and aligns with the Hotel positioning.
- Responsible for creatively promoting the promotional calendars and polishing guest facing material including menu updates, print, digital and advertising assets as well as other collateral to support revenue generation and guest experience.
- Audit materials to ensure external messaging aligns with brand guidelines and positioning.
Public Relations and Visual Asset Management
- Maintains a comprehensive list of local and regional media contacts, with particular emphasis on food critics and bloggers.
- Writes press releases under guidance of DOPR for property events, promotions, and outlets.
- Verifies the media news and other online, print, and social media mention report is completed monthly for property distribution.
- Maintains Hotel's image library and ensures content is up to date with all relevant content on website and third-party platforms.
- Assists with planning and coordinating property photo shoots and content creation aligned with ECI guidelines.
- Attending events or photoshoots outside of working hours or on weekends will be required (days to be compensated as per the P&C policies).
