Operation & Maintenance:Oversee and manage the daily operations of mechanical systems within the facility. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Coordinate with other engineering teams for integrated facility management.
Fit-Out Projects:Lead mechanical engineering aspects of fit-out projects from conception to completion. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure mechanical systems meet project specifications and standards. Review and approve mechanical designs and plans.
Facility Management:Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Compliance and Safety:Ensure all mechanical installations and maintenance comply with local regulations and safety standards. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary. Promote a culture of safety within the team and across the facility.
Technical Support:Provide technical support and guidance to the facility management team. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and apply best practices. Education:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in fit-outs and facility management. Extensive experience with infrastructure and commercial high-rise buildings.
Certifications:Relevant certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), or equivalent. Safety certifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using mechanical engineering software and tools. Desired Attributes:
