Job Purpose
To ensure that all jobs allocated to the team are completed within agreed timescales and to the standard expected by the Principal assuring high level of customer satisfaction.
Accountabilities
Team Management
1. Plan the distribution of work amongst the team utilising the available skills mix.
2. Plan the scheduling of the work allocated by the service advisor, prioritise time sensitive work and ensure work is completed within agreed timescales.
3. Develop, guide, direct, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with the Performance Management System to assist in the realisation of their potential and to enhance their knowledge-based skills.
Quality Control
4. Inspect work completed by technicians to insure that all work complies with manufacturer’s standards.
Operational
5. Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the Audi dealers.
6. Maintain safe working practices, and carry out a regular safety inspection of the premises to ensure compliance to company Health and Safety regulations.
7. Develop trainee technicians by supporting their on-the-job training, passing on expertise and best practice.
