- Perform wound care and dressing changes with a focus on infection prevention and promoting optimal recovery.
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs and detect early signs of complications, intervening as necessary.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the surgical environment, instruments, and supplies, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care in high-pressure situations, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
