Job Description:

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 6+ Years

To perform the installation, configuration, and administration of IBM Middleware infrastructure, this will include the administration of the following products: IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus, IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Under general direction, independently develops, maintains, and extends a stable production, development and testing middleware infrastructure while extending the functionality and enabling developers to use it via mentoring and formal training. Independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which components are written. Codes, tests, debugs, and documents assignments of moderate to high complexity. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top-level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of applications system architecture with strong technical (applications based) knowledge. May serve as primary system support for multiple complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge. May serve as project manager or team lead on complex projects

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• IBM MQ Administration on RedHat/Linux and Windows

• IBM Integration Bus Administration

• IBM DataPower and IBM API Connect Administration

• Configuration and troubleshooting of above technologies

• Installation, Upgrades, and Patching of above products

• Experience in Performance tuning of above products

• Experience in the Management of API Platform services and applications

• Familiar with General security concepts

• Provide infrastructure consulting and support to application development teams

Experience in the following is essential:

• Experience in the administration of IBM MQ, IIB, DataPower and API Connect

• Experience with shell scripting

• Knowledge of databases preferably Oracle/SQL Server but not obligatory

• At least 1 years’ experience with RedHat/Linux administration

• TCP/IP Network familiarity

• Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to MQ, IIB and DataPower

Experience in the following is advantageous:

• Experience on DevOps tools and Cloud technologies

• Knowledge and experience on IBM CloudPak Integration

Preferred Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field.

• 8-10 years IT operations experience.

• High level interpersonal communication and documentation skills.

• Must have the aptitude and the interest to work in a variety of technologies

• Must possess the ability to craft innovative technical solutions in a challenging environment

• Comfortable in supporting production systems any time of the day (24x7)

• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies and product versions soon after release
