We’re seeking a talented Network Engineer with project management expertise to lead an Extra Low Voltage (ELV) project. This role demands hands-on mastery of network infrastructure—think VLANs, QoS, BGP, and IPsec—while driving the project to success. If you live for subnetting, routing protocols, and delivering secure, high-performance networks, we want your CV!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure robust network architectures (LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN).
- Implement and manage switches (e.g., Cisco Catalyst, Juniper EX) with VLAN segmentation and STP optimization.
- Deploy and fine-tune firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto) with NAT, VPNs, and IDS/IPS policies.
- Lead the ELV project, overseeing timelines, budgets, and vendor sync-ups.
- Troubleshoot Layer 2/3 issues, optimize QoS, and ensure low-latency, high-availability systems.
- Align network solutions with project goals using routing protocols like OSPF or BGP.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in network engineering, preferably with ELV system exposure.
- Deep knowledge of switch configuration, firewall rulesets, and TCP/IP stack.
- Experience with project management—PMP, Agile, or equivalent is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or design software (Visio, AutoCAD).
- Strong grasp of network security (SSL/TLS, encryption) and communication skills.
