We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager to take over the Dubai office of an IT company. In this position, you will oversee daily office operations aimed to create a positive and efficient work environment for our employees. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from managing office supplies to planning team events and supporting the overall administrative needs of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point person for employees and management for general office management duties, including maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, and shopping.
- Manage and optimize office layout, including seating arrangements and space planning to ensure effective communication and accommodate growth and changes.
- Oversee the provision of meals and refreshments, including snacks, breakfast, and lunch order, as well as Friday dinner organization.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees during business trips, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Partner with HR on the onboarding process for new employees and assist with offboarding tasks when employees depart.
- Assist in employee relocation processes including apartment booking, travel arrangements, and managing visa applications.
- Organize company events, including team-building activities, holiday parties, and other corporate events to foster team spirit and morale.
- Manage the office general and administrative budget, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Organize office operations and procedures, partnering with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
