Experience
· Monitors the resources consumption at ETP site and optimizing the plant operation cost.
· Ensures the effluent discharged from the plant meets the regulations and is done as per the established process.
· Supervises, schedules, and evaluates ETP operations and/or maintenance activities through subordinate staff.
· Develops schedules and methods for performing assigned duties; maintains appropriate work records and documents which includes timesheets, and work orders.
· Performs operational, mechanical, or electrical maintenance activities depending on the supervisor's area of expertise; troubleshoots process and equipment problems.
· Implements and ensures safe work practices and policies appropriate for unit operations; provides for safety training and required reporting.
· Track and report consumption of chemicals used in ETP operation and work with SCM to determine ideal stock levels.
· Develop and implement maintenance schedule for ETP.
· Implement and support systems that create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for ETP operations.
· Ensure compliance to AFLP’s HSE standards within effluent treatment plant.
· Adhere to departmental budgets and ensure optimal utilization of all available resources.
· Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, to ensure work is completed out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a world class service.
· Carry-out cost-efficient usage of all resources at disposal to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.
· Share ideas and viewpoints to further streamline processes, thus driving efficiency and improvements across the organization.
· Comply to all relevant QHSSE management procedures and controls across the department so that AFLP provides a safe, world class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its employees.
· Stay updated with on-going change and cascade approved communication to the layers below.
· Collect and share ideas and viewpoints to further streamline systems, processes, thus driving efficiency and improvements across the organization.
· Provide operational guidance and feedback to team members on a day to day basis.
Qualifications
· High school or diploma is required
Minimum years of experience
· 10+ years of related experience of which a minimum of 4 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
Skills and Competencies
· Principles and practices of maintenance, repair and operation as related to mechanical and electrical equipment
· Working knowledge of effluent collection and treatment.
· Strong Health, Safety and Environment knowledge.
