THE POSITION
Responsible for day-to-day activities of all trading systems and processes as well as the proper recording of all operational trading information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
· Develop, nurture and maintain good relationships with service companies (e.g., Inspectors, freight forwarding, and insurance) and manage their performance
· FSU operating: organizing of the proper paperwork and contractual work related with the FSU commercial activities
· Interaction and coordination of actions with the logistics group for the management of the FSU as part of the port infrastructure
· Participation in the organization of FSU maximum loading, coordination with the company’s management and services (logistics, financial, legal) of the transhipment agreements, blending, and other operational agreements regarding FSU.
· Organization and control of activities of the “Refining and Blending” working group
· Provision and control over the operational activities of the «Refining and Bending" working group
· Participation in and operational control over the terms of tolling contracts, participation in negotiations with counterparties, formation of optimal effective conditions for such contracts with the assistance of the company’s logistics, financial and legal services, approval of it with the company management and facilitation the signing of contract.
· Operational support of processing agreements for each tranche
· Provide offers of refined products market realisation and its coordination with the company’s services as well as its approval by the company’s management,
· Provide contractual and post-contractual work linked to tolling agreements and market realisation of refined products.
· Participation at commercial work of the company on the daily basis, ensuring its maximum efficiency.
· Be familiar with all operational issues and see that operations staff fulfil their required tasks.
· Review upcoming cost changes and notify appropriate personnel and management and notify finance personnel if they will have impact on current deals.
· Review and approve computerised records relating to deals.
Logistics Forecasting – lead the operations team to:
· Assess logistics risk exposure and potential logistical problem areas
· Maintain close communication with agents, shipping brokers, surveyors and all parties involved in a normal cargo flow, in which involved.
Administration
· Prepare and submit reports required by the COO in accordance with established deadlines.
