We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Patient Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Our Clinic. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient appointments, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients throughout the clinic. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Appointment Management: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring an efficient clinic schedule and minimal wait times. Follow up on reminders for upcoming appointments via phone or email.
- Patient Onboarding & Communication: Welcome new patients, provide them with initial consultation details, collect necessary medical histories, and ensure a positive experience from first contact. Assist with registration and intake forms.
- Billing & Payments: Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment processing. Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of insurance claims where applicable.
- Patient Support: Address patient inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and empathetic manner. Provide guidance on services, procedures, and preparation steps.
- Medical Record Management: Maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies. Ensure all necessary information is accurately updated and stored confidentially.
- Collaboration with Medical Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other clinic staff to ensure smooth transitions between patient care and treatment. Ensure medical professionals have the necessary information for patient visits.
- Service Promotion: Educate patients on available services, treatments, and ongoing promotions offered at BeYou Clinic. Promote an overall sense of wellness and provide information on the latest services and technologies.
- Patient Feedback & Quality Assurance: Collect and monitor patient feedback to identify areas for service improvement. Help implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and the overall clinic experience.
- Patient Care Coordination: Assist with follow-ups, making sure patients are booked for subsequent visits or treatments, and coordinate care after treatment procedures, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferably in a medical clinic or wellness center), with a focus on patient coordination or customer service.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with clinic management software and basic medical terminology.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
