Calculation of employee salaries (earnings & deductions) and administration of same through WPS system
· Collection and data entry of all relevant information required for the monthly payroll including but not limited to:
· New employees, leave and absence, site allowances, time & attendance records including authorized overtime, Employee status changes, and any salary advances
· Ensure payroll records (hard copies and in the systems) accurately reflect current details for all employees including but not limited to:
· New employees, employees that have left, any contractual amendments, changes of status, leave and absence including holiday entitlements
· Liaise with Accounts Department for all payroll related matters
· Provide a responsive and accurate service on payroll matters
· Escalate difficult enquiries to HR and Admin Manager
· Facilitate smooth End of Service processing for all employees including but not limited to:
· Calculation of end of service gratuity; liaison with Senior Admin officer for cancellation of residence visas, labor cards and other formal documentation
· Provide monthly payroll report and summary to HR and Admin Manager
· Establish and maintain Payroll folder file on the server
· Receive and respond to employee queries about leave pay and entitlements
· Review of invoices received from labor suppliers against attendance sheets received from operational locations
