We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer Steel / Aluminium Manufacturing & Fabrication Industry (DIC- Dubai). The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in project planning and management within the manufacturing or construction sectors. Applicant must have 8-10 years (UAE) experience in metal manufacturing & fabrication experience. You will be responsible for developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor forecast, master plan, delivery and production schedules.
• Coordinate and liaise with design Materials Controller, Purchaser and Production Staff.
• Verifying the quantity of material in production and on completion; prepare monthly attrition and delivery report.
• Continuously improving efficiency and minimizing cost.
• Review and analysis of contract documents such as BOQ, Drawings & specifications and make the necessary changes if required.
• Regularly monitor the critical path and prepare schedule impact reports for the project management.
• Coordinate and liaise with the Project Manager about the current work progress, making comparisons between plan and actual progress and providing suggestions.
• Coordinate with the engineering and procurement department regarding the interfacing of construction activities and material & Equipment availability.
• Monitoring the equipment allocation and resource utilization
• Conduct the project planning and progress review meeting with the site and factory team to discuss critical activities and constraints.
• Prepare Daily tracking reports of all projects & jobs and Monthly/Weekly progress reports, dashboards, and monthly management presentations highlighting achievements and areas of concern.
• Prepare the mitigation plan and revised program.
• Prepare detailed documentation for extension of time (EOT) for the projects if required.
