  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:

Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
Define milestones, deliverables, and timelines for various stages of the project.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with the baseline schedule.

  1. Coordination and Reporting:Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to align plans and timelines.
    Prepare and present progress reports, delay analysis, and recovery plans.
    Communicate project risks, delays, or variances to senior management.
  2. Resource Allocation and Optimization:Identify and allocate resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) to ensure efficient project execution.
    Track resource utilization and address any shortages or inefficiencies.
  3. Cost and Budget Management:Support the project team in budget planning and control.
    Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess project performance.
    Prepare forecasts and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  4. Risk Management:Identify potential risks affecting project timelines or costs and recommend mitigation strategies.
    Ensure contingency plans are in place to address project disruptions.
  5. Technical Expertise:Utilize civil engineering knowledge to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
    Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to align planning activities.
  6. Compliance and Documentation:Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
    Maintain accurate records, including schedules, progress reports, and resource logs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • Experience:10+ years of experience in project planning, with a focus on the Oil & Gas and construction sectors.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in ADNOC projects is preferable.
