Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring, closing to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Analyze project progress and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure smooth execution.
• Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to optimize project planning.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Maintain records of project activities and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Capture delays and prepare the delay analysis.
• Notify the delays attributable to the clients on timely manner in order to obtain EOT with cost/without cost.
• Prepare Progress Management System and monitor.
• Establishing / follow the organizational productivity norms and also ensure that the same productivity norms are implemented and monitored at site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other scheduling tools.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region is preferred. Work experience in Oil and Gas projects, too, in ADNOC
