We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production & Installation Engineer with a strong background in managing carpentry workshops, specializing in the production and installation of cabinets, kitchens, wardrobes, and other wood-based furniture. This role involves overseeing end-to-end production processes, ensuring quality standards, managing installation projects in residential renovation settings, and handling client quotations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both manufacturing and on-site fitting, with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Management: Oversee daily operations in the carpentry workshop, including planning, scheduling, and supervising the production of custom furniture pieces like cabinets, kitchens, and wardrobes.
- Quality Control: Ensure products meet high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process, from material selection to final finishing.
- Installation & Fitting: Manage on-site installation projects, ensuring precise fitting and alignment for residential renovations and new construction projects.
- Quotation Issuance: Prepare and issue detailed quotations for prospective clients, working closely with project managers to ensure pricing accuracy based on materials, labor, and project scope.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of carpenters, installers, and other workshop staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure timelines and specifications are met, coordinating logistics for both workshop production and on-site installations.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any production or installation challenges efficiently to minimize project delays and uphold quality.
