Oversee the production and implementation of project-specific “Inspection and Test Plans (ITP)” in line with project specifications.
Oversee the preparation and submission of Work Inspection requests, Material Inspection, Material submittal, method statement, and corresponding QA/QC logs and liaise with consultants to approve the submittals.
Inspection of DLC and subcontractors work on site and present the report to the client for approval.
Identify non-conformances and take preventive and corrective actions.
Assist the Engineering department in the evaluation and correction of specific quality control problems and issues.
Perform QA/QC Checks, audits and reviews
Inspect suppliers/subcontractors, factories/workshops to check the quality before the material is delivered to the site as required.
Carry out the closing of the NCRs in conjunction with the site team. Provide training to foremen and labour on quality matters.
Inspect the Site Filing System and ensure all QA documents are being used as per Company procedures.
Check and ensure that the Company Drawing Control System is being used as per the procedure
Identify non-quality trends and advice project managers, site engineers, site supervisors for resolutions.
Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with client requirements.
Work with the Lab Coordinator to conduct tests as per the project specification.
Monitor the progress of work and report the status of completion of the official inspections such as accepted, rejected, postponed or canceled to the respective project manager.
Maintain the necessary close-out documentation as per project requirements.
Weekly updates are required to be sent to keep senior management appraised of the works at the site.
Manage the QA/QC engineers at the sites at all times.
Carry out weekly meetings with all QA/QC Engineers and update the progress at the site.
Further training in the QA procedures will be required if and when necessary.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and Senior Management.
