Summary: responsible for driving sales growth and business development in the UAE and broader GCC region. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and marine sectors, and providing technical expertise to support customer needs. The Sales Engineer will develop and execute sales strategies, collaborate with internal teams to pitch tailored solutions which comply with industry safety standards. The goal is to expand market share, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the company’s overall revenue and growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Complete the Habitat training and develop a sound understanding of the product, continuously engaging with the existing team to further enhance your knowledge and understanding.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
· Identify and target new business opportunities, while managing and growing relationships with existing customers across the region.
· Conduct customer needs analysis and provide technical expertise and solutions to meet their needs.
· Build & maintain customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
· Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
· Work with the Project Manager to develop and present detailed, accurate, and competitive quotations and proposals for customers.
· Negotiate sales contracts and close deals.
· Work with the team to provide post-sales technical support to customers as needed.
· Achieve sales goals and KPIs.
· Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
· Own the account strategy for the assigned accounts update the Business Unit Manager as agreed.
· Actively contribute to the CRM system & update the data base regularly to aid in strategic decision making for the team.
· Regular meetings with reporting lines to plan strategies and review performance.
· Ensure that priority is given to customer's complaints, and view such complaints as opportunities to build the trust of said customers.
· Keep a close relationship with external and internal customers to enhance their trust.
