We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to sales growth. The ideal candidate should be energetic, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Freshers are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities

Customer Assistance & Sales Support

  • Describe product features and benefits, demonstrating proper usage and handling.
  • Educate customers about brand quality standards and product specifications.
  • Assist customers in choosing the best-suited product range and answer queries to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Provide information on warranties, features, specifications, maintenance, and product care.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving or escalating complaints.

Sales & Cash Handling

  • Achieve sales targets through sales techniques, up-selling, and cross-selling.
  • Maintain awareness of new product launches, promotional events, and sales.
  • Ensure accurate promotions and pricing in line with company standards.
  • Compute sale prices, apply discounts, and maintain sales records.
  • Process cash, card, and credit payments, generating invoices and receipts.
  • Accurately handle money transactions while operating as a cashier (if applicable).

Store Operations & Merchandising

  • Follow store after-sales procedures, including repair and return policies.
  • Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control, and company standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in store merchandising, ensuring proper product placement and display.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and follow store grooming etiquette at all times.

Self-Management & Development

  • Set performance goals with the reporting manager and actively work towards achieving them.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and brand information.
  • Continuously develop interpersonal and customer service skills.
