- Promote and sell freight forwarding / logistics business through direct contacts and Telemarketing skills.
- Manage business relationships with key account decision makers.
- Plan and coordinate execution of various marketing activities along with multiple vendors, distribution, internal sales & support team.
- To be well versed in sales promotion with social media and other technology-enabled activities
- Identifying and generating new leads with the aim of creating more sales.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers, meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Setting up meeting with new and existing clients, connecting with decision makers, presenting company solution & expertise, develop sales strategies to secure new and existing business.
- Manage and develop business relationships with key account decision makers, vendors, distributors, agents etc.
- Building strong relationships with strategic customers, target new accounts & penetrate new accounts along with sales account managers on a day-to-day basis.
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Knowledge of trends and changes in the business world
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
- Deliver sales presentations to customers & senior management and demonstrate our services
- Identification, research and successful closing of new business prospects and opportunities
- Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies.
