As a *Sales Engineer – Scaffolding*, you will play a vital role in developing our scaffolding rental business by identifying new clients, preparing technical and commercial offers, and ensuring efficient delivery of services. You will also be responsible for estimating project requirements, understanding site conditions, and liaising between clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:*
- Identify and engage with contractors, project managers, and procurement teams to generate sales leads.
- Conduct site visits to assess scaffolding requirements and prepare material estimations.
- Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals in line with company strategy.
- Coordinate with logistics and the storekeeper to ensure timely delivery and collection of materials.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and resolve issues efficiently.
- Track enquiries, follow-ups, and sales performance using CRM tools.
- Provide technical input on scaffolding designs and erection methods as needed.
- Monitor competitor activity, market pricing, and industry trends to support pricing strategy.
- Work closely with operations to ensure alignment of rental stock availability and site needs.
Requirements:*
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Civil/Mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of *experience in scaffolding sales* or a related construction equipment rental field in the UAE/GCC.
- Good understanding of scaffolding systems, erection & dismantling methods, and site safety.
- Proficient in basic estimation techniques and understanding of BOQs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- UAE driving license is *mandatory*.
- Strong command of English (Arabic is a plus).
