Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a proven ability to manage the accounting functions for multiple projects within a fast-paced MEP Contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Accounting:

* Oversee the full accounting cycle for multiple projects, including revenue recognition, cost tracking, and project profitability analysis.

* Maintain accurate and timely project cost records, including labor, materials, subcontracts, and equipment.

* Prepare and analyze project-level financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

* Assist in the preparation of project budgets and track actual performance against budget.

* Financial Reporting:

* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet.

* Prepare and analyze key financial indicators and generate insightful MIS reports.

* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

* Cost Control:

* Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure project profitability.

* Analyze variances from budget and identify areas for improvement.

* Work closely with project managers to identify and mitigate potential cost overruns.

* Other Responsibilities:

* Assist with the preparation of year-end audits.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

* Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and procedures.

* Other duties as assigned.
