• Lead the Design / site coordination process with other disciplines.

• Reviews Shop drawings and related construction documents.

• Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensure progress on site.

• Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress, quality and the like.

• Hands on in monitoring the interior architectural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.

• Reviewing, all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals.

• Review construction submittals from project inception to close-out.

• Review Contractor's installation method statements.

• Review Contractor's proposed sub-contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.

• Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractor's adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification, good working practices, the construction schedule and health & safety.

• Lead the snagging and de-snagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion through this process.

• Attend project, site progress and any related technical meetings

• Oversee all architectural / Fit-out work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.

• Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
