+ Job Title and Overview

The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing and supervising daily maintenance operations across a portfolio of 100+ residential and/or commercial units. The role requires strong technical expertise, operational leadership, and the capability to establish and scale engineering and maintenance systems from the ground up. The position will also play a critical role in supporting business expansion into external projects, ensuring engineering standards, cost efficiency, and execution quality



+ Essential Job Functions:


  • Supervise and manage daily maintenance operations across all company-managed units

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities

  • Lead site inspections and ensure quality control and compliance with standards

  • Establish maintenance systems, workflows, SOPs, and reporting structures from scratch

  • Manage contractors, technicians, and vendors to ensure timely execution

  • Review and approve technical drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit

  • Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for building works

  • Ensure optimal selection and usage of construction materials

  • Oversee structural-related maintenance and assess building integrity where required

  • Coordinate and supervise MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) activities

  • Provide technical input for new projects and support company expansion initiatives

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement measures


    + Education and Experience

    Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Minimum 10 years of total experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE (highly preferred)

  • Strong experience in maintenance operations and building management


    Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods

  • Experience in structural engineering principles

  • Solid understanding of MEP systems (mandatory for plumbing; electrical knowledge preferred)

  • Experience in quantity surveying and building quantity calculations
