My client is one of the largest construction companies globally involved in major projects within Engineering and Construction. Due to recent project wins, we have been exclusively retained to assist in the recruitment of skilled talent to their Middle East teams.

One of their most pressing requirements is for a Senior Design Engineer on a recently awarded Infrastructure Scheme (Roads, Highways, Bridges). We are looking for an experienced individual with experience on these types of projects.
The role will be a hybrid position and can be based in your home country with occasional travel to the Middle East project location or if you wish to relocate, our client will assist you in the process.

This position will be to manage and coordinate the design process from conception to and detailed project design. This will involve creating specifications, issuing documents, providing technical support and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure the design meets all requirements.

As this position is for a major Roads and Highways project, you will need to have experience of infrastructure projects.

Requirements

- Minimum 15 years experience including design and site
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Relevant project experience (Roads, Highways, Bridges)
- Understanding of cost, contractual and commercials
- Strong managerial capabilities
- AutoCAD and MicroStation
