Job Objectives

- Planning to ensure that Blasting Painting activities are conducted in a safe manner, in accordance with specifications and within the Budgeted Time and Manpower Allocation

Day- to-day operations:

- Work and performed in accordance of specification and work instruction are followed

- Reporting progress, maintain productions record and monitor material usage.

- Liaise with project manager and owner representative to ensure that other department are synchronized and met set target.

- Ensuring efficient and effective manpower loading on completion program.

- Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to work & safety related matters.

- Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.

- Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department / Section to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.

- Motivate, direct, align and guide the team for the best performance, monitor performance and provide continuous appraisal and feedback.

- Foreman-Sr. is expected to resolve all work related issues by finding the way to do the jobs as instructed.

- Exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.

- Liaise with other discipline foremen / supervision to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the - overall objective of successful completion of the project.

- Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the supervisor i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns.

- Provide feedback regarding performance appraisal of workers to the department manager via supervisor when required.

- Assist the senior foreman and supervisors in planning activities.

- Ensure that the workers are properly supplied with machineries, tools, equipment and materials and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.

- Perform inspections to ensure that the workers performance is up to the set standards.
