To lead a multidiscipline engineering team for basic or detail design scope for marine and offshore projects.
To take leadership in developing detail technical specification based on brief client specification by liaising with multidiscipline engineers.
Participating in design reviews and taking necessarily follow up actions.
Liaison with Classification Societies.
Define project objectives by reviewing project contractual documents and plans, execution sequence of each engineering activity.
Manage engineering / procurement interface by incorporating vendor data in the design.
Incorporate safety in design and participate in HAZID /HAZOP reviews.
Assist in submission of engineering status reports for weekly and monthly progress meetings.
Ensuring that engineering deliverables are issued according to Project Plan and within allocated man-hours budget.
Ensuring the timely receipt of client engineering details so as not to hamper smooth progress of engineering deliverables and highlight the requirement of critical documents in advance.
Liaison with Client to assure that all technical/engineering requirements are met.
Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the section head.
